I have enjoyed working for Crossroads Fife for the time I have been here. They are a very friendly team of staff who are there if you need them. I received very good training with clear explanations, in more detail if required.
For me, working for Crossroads has been great as I have two children of my own with additional support needs. I have accessed Crossroads myself as a service for roughly the last eight years.
When I started to work with Crossroads I was very limited to what hours I could work; they have worked round my life and let me fit right in no problem.  I was taken to meet the families with whom I’d be working which is great for both cared for person and the carer. I now have a few families which I love going to, knowing that the most enjoyable part is seeing that you have carried out your role professionally and left them happy and safe.

Thoroughly enjoy my job as Support Worker with Crossroads. Feel part of the team and appreciate and value the support I have had during a difficult and at times challenging year. Friendly approachable colleagues in the office/working from home/on call are always available to assist/answer queries. My work life balance is good and key to being happy at work. Would be nice if more male members of staff were Support Workers with Crossroads, may benefit some of our male Service Users
