Crossroads Fife prides itself on being supportive employer offering competitive terms and conditions. We have gathered some comments from our staff on how much they enjoy the job they do:
- I love my job, and feel I am providing a worthwhile service to individuals in the community who really need it. I feel I have an excellent home/work life balance, and always looks forward to coming to my work.
- I feel supported both professionally and personally at work. I feel I can contact my coordinator and ask her anything; she & all the office staff are very approachable and friendly. I know it sounds silly, but I feel ‘looked after’. I have no worries, or problems or issues. I love my job and I am very happy to be working for Crossroads Fife.
- I am very happy with my job. I feel confident I am supported and respected at work, and that I can approach my coordinator or manager with any topic, issue or problem. I feel I am doing a good job, working for a worthwhile, much needed organisation.
- I feel coming to work for Crossroads is one of the best choices I ever made.
- I would like to be working with Crossroads until I retire as I really enjoy my job and feel I am delivering a very worthwhile service.
- I am happy to say that I love my work, in particular I love the variety of individuals I support.
- I have a good home/work life balance. Crossroads Fife respects my responsibilities as a parent, and has taken the time to formulate a rota that suits. I have attended a variety of training including bereavement training, ADHD training and Epilepsy training; these training opportunities have resulted in me understanding these conditions better - and in turn, the service users I support too.
- I feel appreciated as staff member and not ‘just a number’ which is refreshing.
