Carers Conference

Johan Keir our Carers Rep attended the Carers Conference today (10 June 2024). As well as supporting carers with services from our trained staff, Johan is a rep. for our staff who are also carers for their loved ones.
Respite Support for Carers – this is our core service mostly funded by Fife Health & Social Care Partnership. In addition, grants and donations from a variety of sources help to increase our available funds. 

​If Crossroads is able to offer help, you will be asked to suggest suitable days and times to have a service. Every effort will be made to meet your request, if resources are available. Unfortunately, because of the high volume of requests for this service, we operate a waiting list.
​Following discussion of the care needs of the Service User, a Support Worker will be chosen to help you and you will meet her before the service starts. You will be asked to demonstrate any equipment used by the Service User and to explain how you want your relative/friend to be cared for. The frequency of visits will also be agreed.
The service will be reviewed at agreed intervals. However, if you have any concerns about the staff or the service, you are encouraged to contact the Manager or Coordinator. The organisation also operates a Comments and Complaints procedure. The Board of Management reserve the right, in some circumstances, to discontinue the service.
