Fiona Smith was recently invited by the members of Pittenweem Arts Festival to receive a cheque for £1121. This money was raised by selling beautiful handmade crafts following the theme of 'Christmas in Summer'. Fiona is pictured here with Chairperson Anne-Marijke Querido and a representative from the Maggie's Centre, who also received £1121.
Crossroads Fife Central was very grateful to receive this cheque and very appreciative for all the hard work that went into raising the money. Again, thank you to the members of the Pittenweem Arts Festival for considering us in your efforts. The money will be used to provide respite and support to Carers and people with illness and disability in the Fife area. Fiona greatly enjoyed her visit and meeting some of the members, pictured below.

Following our fun filled sponsored walk around the Beveridge Park on 2nd July 2016, all monies have now been collected. We are delighted to announce funds raised from the event total £2,228.72! Part of this total included £328 we received from Diageo, who matched monies raised by their staff who did the walk. These funds will be used to provide additional hours to carers and people requiring support.
Crossroads Fife Central wants to give a huge thanks to all those who walked with us on the day and to all those who sponsored someone or made a donation. Our thanks also go to Diageo. |
